A parent or a responsible person aged 16 years old.

Can adults use the facilities?

The Bounce Activity Zone is available for adults, with all other areas available for children only. Some areas for younger children allow for adults to accompany them on the equipment. Any limitations regarding access and use of individual areas are clearly displayed at the entrance.

Do you have facilities for guests with disabilities?

Yes, we are 100% compliant with current accessibility guidance. This applies to toilets and washrooms, rest/seating areas and the Exploria café. We provide level access in and out of the building and can also widen access by opening a second door. Some play equipment will not be suitable for your child, depending on their needs. Exploria SEN sessions provide exclusive, scheduled sessions for children with additional needs.

What is your approach to unacceptable behaviour?

Anyone behaving in a way that gets in the way of children’s enjoyment will be removed from the park and banned from re-entry. Serious cases will be reported to the police.

By all means capture special family moments, but please only take photos or videos of your own children.

What should my child wear to use the play equipment?

Shoes must be removed before entering the play area and your child must wear Exploria socks, which are available when booking, to maintain hygiene and protect their feet. Children using slides are advised to wear long-sleeved tops and trousers. Socks can be reused on future visits. Belt buckles, pocket change, sharp items and anything else that can damage equipment or hurt people are not permitted on any of our facilities.

Are there any height restrictions for children?

Height restrictions apply in the toddler and baby areas. If your child is taller than the line at the entrance, please do not take your child in.

Is there a safe area where my baby or toddler can play?

Yes, we have areas exclusively for babies and toddlers up to a certain height. The maximum height of child allowed in these areas are clearly signposted at the entrance. Babies and toddlers must be supervised by a  parent or responsible person aged 16 or over.

Do you have a baby changing area?

Yes. Baby changing facilities are provided in all Exploria accessible toilets.

Can we bring a picnic?

No food or drink can be brought into the centre, other than baby milk and baby food. If you have purchased a party with us, you cannot bring your own birthday cake for consumption in the venue.

Can a member of your crew look after my child?

No. Your children’s safety and behaviour are always the responsibility of the accompanying parent or guardian. However, our crew are on hand to make sure the equipment is used correctly and safely. If in doubt, just ask.

What if my child becomes unwell?

We have first-aiders on site who can help if your child becomes unwell or hurts themselves. The play park is very safe, but accidents happen. Always report an accident to us so that we can record it, monitor outcomes and take appropriate preventive action.

Where can I park?

There is a pay and display car park next to the centre. £3.10 for 2 hours or £4.20 for 3 hours will cover you for a session. Street parking is also available nearby.

How do I pay for my sessions?

You can pay when you book online with your credit/debit card, and ApplePay or GooglePay apps. Card, contactless and cash payments are accepted inside the venue at the Exploria helpdesk, café and vending machines.
